Constant Flow Valves – Supporting Water Efficiency in Mobile Emergency Hospitals
In collaboration with Brinkmann & Niemeijer, Bertfelt Teknik is supplying BT-Maric Constant Flow Valves to help limit water consumption and improve efficiency in mobile emergency hospitals deployed in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
For many years, Brinkmann & Niemeijer has designed and delivered mobile washing and toilet units for emergency medical facilities around the world. These mobile hospitals are used by organizations such as the Red Cross in war zones and disaster-stricken areas.
In the fight against COVID-19, Brinkmann & Niemeijer is now supplying a complete system of sinks and toilets for a mobile emergency hospital in Amsterdam. To reduce system pressure and limit water flow in the mobile piping infrastructure—thus saving valuable water—BT-Maric Threaded Constant Flow Valves have been installed.
These mechanical valves deliver a pre-set constant flow rate, independent of pressure fluctuations, within an operating range of 1.4–10 bar—ensuring efficient, reliable water distribution to all sanitary installations.
